Overview
We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaning Operative to join our team in helping to create a clean & hygienic environment for pupils and staff at a primary school in Farnworth, Widnes.
- Duration: Permanent
- Hours: 3.15 pm to 5.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 3.15 to 5.15 pm on Friday during term time. (total 12 hours per week). Additional hours will be required in some school holidays for deep cleans.
- Hourly Pay rates: £12.60 Monday to Friday, £13.10 weekends, £18.90 bank holidays
- Duties will include cleaning classrooms, communal areas, toilet rooms, emptying bins, mopping floors, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touch points and any other associated tasks.
- Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks paid annual leave per year

- Must be able to get to place of work for the required times (essential)
- Previous cleaning experience would be a welcome advantage but not essential as we provide full training
- Ability to provide references is Essential. Employment references are preferred but we will also accept education references or personal character references if employment references are not possible
- Permission to apply for a DBS check (criminal record check)
- Good standard of attendance, punctuality
- Attention to detail, a conscientious attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to provide an excellent level of service
