Location: North & Midlands UK

Salary: £45k base + Uncapped commission up to £5K+ and YTD bonus up to £5K and car allowance £585/month

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for occasional evening networking events and travel.

Overview: Hardman Grey Recruitment is seeking an Account Sales Manager on behalf of our client. This role focuses on driving sales growth and building relationships with contractors, consultants, and merchants in the North & Midlands region plus managing Scotland remotely. The position is home-office-based with monthly visits to the Head Office in High Wycombe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to maximize the company's market presence in the North & Midlands region.
  • Promote and specify products in commercial builds across the UK.
  • Conduct CPD-accredited presentations on water treatment solutions.
  • Conduct visits to Building Design Consultants/Engineers to collaborate on water treatment design and ensure product specification.
  • Strengthen relationships with Merchants, driving sales and product awareness.
  • Maintain up-to-date project and account information using CRM.
  • Execute strategic sales calls to enhance market presence and establish strong B2B and B2C connections.
  • Possess or develop strong technical knowledge in water treatment, including system design and plant room schematics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Experience doing CPD presentations and can provide technical advice.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts.
  • Technical knowledge of water treatment or willingness to learn.
  • Engineering, Building Services or Science-based education or relevant industry training is preferred.
  • Experience using CRM systems.

Package & Benefits:

  • Monthly Commission: Uncapped, with a full 100% achievement earning £5,000 per year (pro-rata) and Year-end bonus up to £5K
  • Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays (rising to 25 after 5 years)
