– £45,000 Hours of Work: Full-time Overview: Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Design Engineer to join a leading provider of innovative mechanical solutions in the HVAC industry.

The Mechanical CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for: Creating layouts, elevations, schematics and detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD or Revit Preparing equipment schedules, project specifications and design standards Mechanical engineering calculations for pipeworks, heat loss and duct sizing using tools such as Hevacomp Ensuring design documentation and calculations are accurate and meet compliance for british building regulations Responding to technical inquiries from clients, contractors and consultants Maintaining a database of electronic documentation Supporting the development of installation level stage 5 designs Representing the company at client meetings The ideal Mechanical CAD Design Engineer candidate will have: A minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical building services or HVAC design Proficiency with AutoCad (or Revit would be advantageous) Knowledge of Hevacomp and familiarity with SAP/ SBEM modelling tools A good understanding of British regulations and standards or best practice A qualification or HNC in building services or a related discipline Working knowledge of technical submissions and document management systems Excellent IT skills Strong communication skills Benefits: Pension Scheme Private and personal healthcare Ongoing training and development ADZN1_UKTJ
