Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-focused Junior Licensing Artist to support our Licensing Art team on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent university graduate or self-taught digital artist to gain hands-on experience in the games industry by contributing to the creation of authentic licensed assets for the Football Manager series.
You’ll work alongside our experienced Licensing Artists to help create high-quality 2D and 3D assets such as kits, club logos and advertising hoardings. A strong interest in football and an eye for detail are essential to make the most of this role.
This is an ideal opportunity to build your portfolio, gain industry experience, and contribute to one of the most beloved sports game franchises.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of licensed 2D and 3D assets including kits, club logos, trophies, balls, and advertising hoardings.
  • Work with provided reference material from clubs and licensors to create visually accurate representations of official assets.
  • Help maintain asset tracking spreadsheets and support the team with quality control tasks.
  • Take on feedback from team members and licensors to refine and improve artwork.
  • Contribute to visual consistency and quality across licensed assets.
  • Support the Licensing team with administrative or research tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • A portfolio showcasing digital artwork – this could include 2D illustrations, logos, kit designs, or 3D models.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator and After Effects are a plus).
  • Strong interest in football – especially kits, logos, branding, and how they appear in games, sportswear, or broadcasting.
  • Great attention to detail, particularly when working with branding and real-world references.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Enthusiasm to learn, take feedback, and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
