About The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to support and make an impact across each step of the Instructional Design framework from Analysis all the way through to Evaluation. In this role, you’ll design and deliver engaging digital learning experiences that build skills, confidence, and capability across our teams. From virtual classrooms and interactive modules to blended learning journeys, you’ll create experiences that make learning accessible and enjoyable; anytime, anywhere, and at any pace. You’ll blend creativity, technology, and a passion for people to help our employees grow and perform at their best.

Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis, working 2 days per week on site. Compensation includes a competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare cash plan, and 26 days annual leave (plus the opportunity to buy an additional 5 days).

What You Will Be Doing

  • Reporting to the L&D Manager, you will develop and design interactive learning using tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Vyond, and Invideo.
  • Create blended experiences that combine eLearning, microlearning, and live virtual facilitation, ensuring all content is clear, on-brand, and accessible.
  • Host interactive virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams, lead online discussions, and deliver short, focused digital sessions that support business goals and keep learners engaged.
  • Measure learning impact through data and feedback, updating content regularly to keep it fresh, relevant, and aligned with best practice.
  • Manage course uploads, tracking, and troubleshooting within the Learning Management System, maintaining accurate records and collaborating with IT and HR teams to ensure a seamless learner experience.
  • Work closely with business leaders and HR partners to identify learning needs and champion a culture of continuous development.
  • Inspire others to embrace digital learning and personal growth across the organisation.

About You

  • Experience in using a Learning Management System, as both Admin and Learner.
  • Expert in using video creation software (Vyond, InVideo) and digital learning (Articulate 360 suite).
  • Ability to design clear, outcome-driven eLearning aligned to business goals.
  • Skilled in running virtual classrooms and webinars with energy and engagement.
  • Comfortable using authoring tools, LMS platforms, AI and analytics dashboards.
  • Translates complex content into simple, engaging, story-based learning.
  • Clear, confident communicator — both in writing and live delivery.
  • Builds productive relationships with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
  • Uses analytics to measure learning effectiveness and make improvements.
  • Constantly explores new trends (AI, gamification, microlearning).
