We're looking for a Buying Assistant to join our Fine Jewellery team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about product, retail and customer experience and is looking to build a career within Buying in a fast-paced, global retail business.

Working within the Fine Jewellery category, you'll support the delivery of jewellery ranges and onboard events across our international fleet.

From supplier coordination and product launches to event planning and performance analysis, you'll play an important role in ensuring exceptional product experiences that delight our guests onboard.

Some days will focus on product coordination, supplier communication and administration, while others will involve supporting new launches, reviewing products, analysing performance and helping deliver Fine Jewellery events.

You’ll be based in our Avonmouth office two days per week, working collaboratively with the Buying team and wider stakeholders, with flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.

  • What You Will Be Doing
  • Supporting the Buying team in the delivery of Fine Jewellery ranges and onboard events.
  • Coordinating product and event timelines to ensure key deadlines are achieved.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting product development activity, including samples, product reviews and launch preparation.
  • Maintaining accurate product information and supporting buying administration.
  • Assisting with commercial analysis and reporting to support trading decisions.
  • Conducting competitor and product research to support category growth.
  • Helping deliver exceptional product experiences that delight our guests onboard ships.

About You

You are highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once.

You enjoy working to deadlines, take pride in accuracy and remain calm when priorities change.

You are naturally proactive, enjoy building relationships and have a genuine passion for product, retail and customer experience.

Experience

  • Experience within a buying, merchandising, retail or commercial environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Exposure to supplier communication, product coordination or retail operations would be advantageous.
  • A passion and curiosity for buying, product, retail and customer focus.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
