Location: Avonmouth. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
As a Warehouse Operative supporting the Warehouse Supervisory team, you will work in a fast‑paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Stock control activities including stock checks, put aways, and movements.
- Picking in the main warehouse or MEZZ floor (small bin picking) areas.
- Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping activities as required.
- Driving the 3 types of forklifts (unqualified individuals will receive in‑house training).
- Using electric and manual handling aids.
- Moving and rearranging stock by manual handling or lifting equipment.
- Operating airport ladders for picking.
- Using Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office applications.
- Working accurately with attention to detail, both individually and as part of a team.
- Adhering to strict timelines, especially for picking/goods‑in priorities.
- Communicating verbally and in writing with internal and external agencies.
- Problem‑solving picking, put‑away, goods‑in, and dispatch issues.
- Maintaining effective housekeeping measures.
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies throughout the warehouse.
