At Harding+, we’re looking for an Engineering Manager – BI & Integrations to take ownership of Business Intelligence delivery across our global operation – enabling faster, smarter decision‑making that directly impacts commercial performance.
Shape Data & Technology in a Truly Unique Environment
Harding+ is the world’s only dedicated cruise retailer, delivering exceptional onboard retail experiences across leading cruise lines globally. As we continue to invest in our technology landscape – including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and an evolving Microsoft Fabric‑based data platform – this is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role with real scope and influence. You’ll sit at the intersection of business and technology, shaping how data is structured, delivered and governed across a complex, international environment.
The Opportunity
As Engineering Manager – BI & Integrations, you will lead a remote/offshore BI team, taking full ownership of delivery, prioritisation and team performance. You Will Take Ownership Of:
- Driving consistent delivery across BI and data initiatives
- Establishing clear prioritisation, governance and delivery cadence
- Aligning stakeholders and managing expectations effectively
- Developing a high‑performing, accountable BI team
You’ll operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment, balancing multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and growing data demands.
Key Projects & Technical Context
The Role Will Initially Focus On:
- Evolving the Microsoft Fabric data platform and BI ecosystem
- Improving data integrity, consistency and structure
- Supporting structured data frameworks (e.g. bronze / silver / gold layers)
- Supporting wider Business Central transformation and integration programmes
- Driving improvements in BI delivery maturity, data governance and data quality
This role is not hands‑on, but requires strong technical understanding to effectively guide, challenge and support the team – ensuring solutions are scalable, well‑structured and aligned to business needs.
About You
This role suits someone who thrives in delivery‑focused environments and takes ownership of outcomes, execution and team performance. You may currently be an Engineering Manager, BI Lead, or Data Delivery Manager with experience leading BI or data teams in complex environments.
You Will Bring:
- Experience managing BI or data teams, ideally across remote or offshore models
- A strong delivery mindset, with the ability to prioritise, organise and execute
- Solid understanding of BI/data platforms (e.g. Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, ETL/ELT)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, translating business needs into delivery
You’ll Stand Out If You Demonstrate:
- A proactive, outcome‑driven approach
- Confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
- A focus on continuous improvement and raising standards
Why Join Harding+
