Title:</b> Trainee Technical Administrator</p> <p><b>Hours:</b> Full Time – 9:00 – 5:30pm</p> <p><b>Location:</b> Shalford, Surrey</p> <p><b>Salary:</b> £25,000 - £28,000</p> <p>An excellent opportunity to join a fast growing, innovative, technology focused independent financial planning firm based in Shalford.</p> <p>We are continuing to build a team of individuals who share the company’s passion for high quality, customer-driven financial advice.
The successful applicant will report to our Head of Paraplanning and Administration.
Our administration team work closely with our financial planners and paraplanners.</p> <h2>Job Role</h2> <ul> <li>Liaising with clients on the phone and via email/portal</li> <li>Providing exceptional service to your allocated clients</li> <li>Carrying out Valuation Summary Reports for client annual & mid-year review meetings</li> <li>Updating Trust Registration Scheme and CRBOT Registration</li> <li>Submission of Tax Returns and tracking invoices following completion by the financial planner</li> <li>Preparing and sending the relevant documents and paperwork to clients</li> <li>Tracking the return of client documents and paperwork</li> <li>Processing advice recommendations for clients and liaising with providers to keep the client up to date throughout.
This includes Protection, Pension Switching, Cash and Re-registration transfers, Fund Switches, Contributions, Withdrawals, DB SASS Transfers, BED and ISA’s/Sipp’s, Use of CGT Allowances</li> <li>Ensuring the Backoffice system (IO) is kept up to date and tasks for processing recommendations are completed in a timely manner and checked</li> <li>Meeting and greeting clients and providers when they are visiting the office for meetings</li> <li>Covering post when the office administrator is absent</li> <li>Assisting with mailings when in the office, for other admin members and wider team</li> <li>Occasional project work with Admin Team Leader and Manager</li> </ul> <h2>Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Desire to work or previous experience working in the financial services industry</li> <li>Previous administration experience</li> <li>Strong digital literacy; including use of Microsoft Office</li> <li>Excellent telephone manner</li> <li>Good IT skills; especially Word and Excel</li> <li>High attention to detail and strong organisational ability</li> <li>Flexible approach to working</li> <li>Ability to juggle tasks, prioritise and work well under pressure</li> </ul></div> #J-18808-Ljbffr
