We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering company based in the DH4 area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled candidate with experience in welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work who is looking to join a busy and growing business offering competitive pay and long-term stability.
The Role:
- MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials
- Fabricating and assembling metal components
- Working from engineering drawings
- Cutting, folding, bending, and forming sheet metal
- Using fabrication machinery and hand tools
- Ensuring work is completed to high quality standards
- Working independently and as part of a team
The Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator and/or Sheet Metal Worker
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
Package:
- £16.00 – £20.00+ per hour depending on experience
- Overtime available
- Permanent role
