We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable TIG Welder to join our team in the S6 area of Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds across a range of materials and projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to increase their hourly rate based on proven experience, capability, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Ensure all welds meet required quality and safety standards
  • Carry out inspections and basic quality checks on completed work
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment
  • Work independently as well as part of a team to meet production targets

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in TIG welding (minimum 3 years preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Experience working with thin gauge materials (desirable)
  • Relevant welding qualifications or certifications (advantageous but not essential)
  • Good timekeeping and reliability
