We are looking to recruit a skilled CNC Miller / Programmer to join a growing team in Leicester. Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls)
  • Produce high-quality components in line with technical drawings
  • Edit and optimise programs to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor machining processes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Carry out troubleshooting and problem-solving where required
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer
  • Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
  • Ability to programme from scratch at the machine
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Confident working independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and quality standards

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience with offline programming software
  • Experience working with a variety of engineering materials
