We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing and engineering business based in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Welder Fabricator with experience in TIG, MIG and ARC welding to join a growing company offering competitive rates of pay and long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out TIG, MIG and ARC welding to a high standard
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components from engineering drawings
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Work with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
  • Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards
  • Perform quality checks on completed fabrications and welded assemblies
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
  • Competent in TIG, MIG and ARC welding
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Experience working with fabrication tools and workshop machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable with a positive work ethic
