We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Pipe TIG Welder to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable welder to work on a variety of projects within industrial and process pipework environments.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding stainless steel pipework and be capable of working from engineering drawings to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
- Fabrication and assembly of pipework systems from engineering drawings.
- Pipe fitting and preparation of materials prior to welding.
- Producing high-quality welds to company and industry standards.
- Working on process, steam, gas, and industrial pipework installations.
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a TIG Welder / Pipe TIG Welder.
- Proven experience welding stainless steel pipework.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Experience with pipe fitting and fabrication.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.
- Apprenticeship or NVQ in Fabrication and Welding.
- Previous coded welding experience.
- Experience within food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or process industries.
- CSCS, IPAF, or other relevant site certifications.
