North Bristol/South Gloucestershire

£28-33k DOE

Working with a growing multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy with six offices across the UK, we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Geo-environmental Engineer, to be based in their North Bristol/South Gloucestershire office, looking to build further good experience while working on a varied portfolio of UK infrastructure and development projects. What you will be doing

  • Working closely with geologists, engineers, and technicians, you will play a key role in technical delivery across geo-environmental projects.
  • Your day-to-day will include:
  • Ground investigations, site monitoring & verification visits
  • Desk studies and interpretative reporting (with senior support)
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and utility providers
  • Organising site works and managing investigations on site
  • Supporting project managers and collaborating across disciplines

What do we need?

  • A relevant degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or similar)
  • In excess of 18 months site investigation experience
  • Exposure to desk study and interpretative report writing with good written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with GIS or environmental modelling tools
  • Strong communication skills and a full UK driving licence
