I am looking for an LVIA Landscape Architect for a role at either Principal or Associate Director for an exciting role with a growing B Corp multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy. A key focus of the role will be on leading on and writing LVIA's, including to support Development Consent Orders (DCO's) for a variety of sector projects, ensuring good design is embedded from the outset. The role will ideally be in our Sheffield office but can also be in our Manchester location.

Requirements and skills

  • Experience and knowledge of a variety of sectors, projects large and small.
  • A degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Management.
  • CMLI accreditation with good knowledge of professional ethics and ethical framework.
  • A very good understanding of the UK planning system and how our work relates to it.
  • Demonstrable professional experience of landscape architecture (typically 8+ years), particularly working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong team leadership, collaboration and project and commercial management skills and experience.
  • Confident and articulate written communication.
  • Strong track record in building relationships with clients.
  • Experience of managing projects and fee budgets, or a desire to develop the necessary skills.
  • A strong working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS/Pro, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Focus on detail delivery and strong report writing skills are essential.
