This role sits within the Hardest Adventures - 'Student Experiences' Division / Team. Hardest Adventures enables humans to unlock and discover their true potential through the power of movement and EPIC group travel experiences. We curate extraordinary student group adventure, challenge, and half / full marathon experiences for people seeking life-changing experiences that can put them outside the classroom and outside their comfort zones to reach their full potential.
Teams of students arise each year across university campuses taking on challenges such as Mount Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, Dash to Dubrovnik, the Lisbon and Paris Marathons, and many more, all fundraising for amazing charities and causes.
To help us reach as many students as possible, grow our teams, and drive that impact / growth across the world, we need individuals who align with our values to join us as either:
- Team Leaders - Getting a heavily subsidised (basically FREE) trip in exchange for supporting with marketing, promotion, team management and communications.
- Campus Brand Ambassadors - Who can support our activations, promotion and getting our message and experiences known by as many students as possible!
What You'll Do
- Promote & Recruit - You turn curiosity into commitment through Freshers' Fairs, social media, and conversations around campus. We back you with the structure: a campus manager, your charity partner, and a room booked for an info night with everyone who is interested.
- Support your team - Once you have a team, it's about supporting them to train and fundraise. Fundraising isn't always loud, but it can be! Get as creative as you like; past students have done 24-hour challenges & tattoos! You're there in those moments to check in and share what's working.
- Adventure - After months of planning, training and fundraising, it's time. Every step, every climb, every moment where someone digs a bit deeper — shared with a team YOU built.
What's In It For You
- Exciting, meaningful experience in social media management, event planning, charity & brand partnerships, marketing, fundraising, travel arrangements and so much more.
- BIG discounts on your challenge (up to 90%): the more you commit, the more accessible it becomes.
- A direct path into future employment opportunities with Hardest Adventures — 80% of our team were previously Challenge Leaders.
- A strong reference from the HA team.
- HA merch: t-shirts, bucket hats, small things that make you feel part of our team.
- Access to a massive network of adventurers, athletes & creators attending treks and exclusive HA events in London.
Experience is not needed. If you're the kind of person who brings people with you, and who wants university to be more than lectures and library sessions, we’d love to chat to you!
