Senior Full-Stack Magento 2 Developer Birmingham Jewellery Quarter – Full Time – On Site (5 Days Per Week) £50,000–£65,000 depending on experience

The Role We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Magento 2 Developer to join our in-house development team at our Birmingham Jewellery Quarter head office.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving complex ecommerce challenges, working across both frontend and backend systems and contributing directly to a growing ecommerce operation.
Magento 2 frontend and backend development
Theme customisation and frontend improvements
Website performance optimisation and troubleshooting
Supporting technical SEO improvements including site structure, page speed, indexing, schema markup and Core Web Vitals
Contributing to ongoing platform improvements and future technical projects
Strong commercial Magento 2 experience
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, OOP and Magento’s ORM
Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
Familiarity with Composer packaging system
Good understanding of Linux-based hosting environments including Apache and NGINX
Understanding of technical SEO principles within large ecommerce websites
Experience with Android development using Kotlin
Experience with Windows application development using C#
Direct involvement in important technical and commercial projects
