Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Staff Product Designer to join our casino team. As a Staff Product Designer, you drive the end-to-end design process, from initial concept to launch, focusing on creating intuitive and engaging interfaces for our online and mobile casino. You’ll be a key contributor leveraging your deep understanding of user needs and design principles to create intuitive and engaging experiences.
You are a highly experienced and detail-oriented designer who is innovative and excels at translating user insights into impactful designs. You thrive in ambiguity, advocate for users, and create elegant solutions. As a mentor, you’ll share your expertise in interaction design and user-centered practices, confidently articulating design decisions, presenting multiple solutions, and advocating for the best user experience. This role requires a strong understanding of interaction design and systems thinking and requires previous online casino industry experience to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of interaction patterns and their details, ensuring thorough and complete design solutions.
- Define, design, and launch sophisticated products within the casino category, while seamlessly integrating with existing product lines.
- Create prototypes quickly and effectively to communicate ideas, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
- Articulate the tradeoffs and opportunities in design decisions, suggesting multiple paths forward and advocating for a strong point of view.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product & engineering) to communicate design concepts and rationale effectively.
- Collaborate proactively to navigate and resolve technical and user experience dependencies.
- Share your expertise with junior designers, providing guidance and mentorship, with the possibility for people management.
- Conduct usability testing to inform design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the casino experience and advocate for the problems we should solve.
- Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and guidelines.

Your Armaments
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of experience in consumer-facing product design
- Previous experience in the online casino industry is a mandatory requirement for this role.
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating design and animation skills is required
- Extensive experience in the design process, from concept development to launch, and leading complex projects independently
- Deep understanding of interaction patterns, micro-interactions, user flows, layout & spacing, visual balance, navigation systems, etc.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools and the ability to create high-fidelity prototypes
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify opportunities, and propose innovative solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies and the ability to incorporate user feedback into design decisions
- Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems
- Experience leading small teams and mentoring other designers
- Demonstrated experience influencing and leading complex initiatives in a remote environment
- Possess a strong growth mindset and comfortable with ambiguity
- Working knowledge of project management software (e.g. JIRA)
- A desire to deeply understand the \”why\” before defining the \”how\” and use it to develop a strategic product design perspective
- A genuine interest in the online gaming industry
