What’s the position?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our rapidly expanding technology team, where you\’ll play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and support of our SportsBook platform, particularly our Trading platform. What are we looking for?

We are seeking an engineer who is eager to solve challenges with innovative ideas and high-quality technical solutions. The ideal candidate is not only focused on our current projects but also interested in our future direction and its impact on our customers. Your insights will help us ensure that everything we create aligns with our ultimate goal: delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Min of 5+ years work experience
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring / SpringBoot
• A deep understanding of AWS Cloud technologies and how to create scalable multi-region applications
• Experience with the following technologies:
• AWS Serverless and serverless-supported languages
• DB (ex, Postgresql, CockroachDB)
• Streaming technologies (Amazon Kinesis, Kafka)
• Message Queues (SQS, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
• Experience working with agile development
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
• Experience with Micro-Service and Service oriented architectures
• Must have experience with Sportsbetting and Casino software and understand the in and outs of sportsbetting
• Nice to have knowledge around general trading rules and feed providers
• Nice to have knowledge with odds feeds such-as Radar, Genius, Swich, & Simplebet
