- Supporting and evangelizing privacy-by-default practices, ensuring proactive embedding of compliance controls within the business including DevOps processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Developing scripts and automated processes to facilitate proactive compliance monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident detection.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to engineers, developers, and technical stakeholders on data anonymization, pseudonymization, and other technical elements aligned with global privacy standards.
- Partnering closely with security and data architecture teams to ensure that privacy controls are robust, operationally efficient, and demonstrably compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting vendor integrations and assessments, particularly reviewing and advising on technical aspects of Data Processing Agreements and related solutions.
- Creating and maintain technical privacy compliance documentation and guidelines for engineers and other stakeholders, clearly outlining privacy requirements for compliance at a technical level.
- Providing timely and accurate information to Senior team members to support internal and external reporting requirements.
- Ensuring that all personal data processing by Hard Rock Digital is compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Continually monitoring developments in relevant law, caselaw, and other sources to improve your knowledge and make recommendations to ensure compliance.
- Assurance monitoring and auditing of business policy and internal controls.
- Championing technical implementation of privacy controls within our product ecosystem and tech stack, including privacy by design in APIs, microservices, cloud deployments, and other data-processing architectures.
What are we looking for?

- 3+ years of experience in privacy engineering, data protection, or related technical compliance roles, ideally in regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience configuring and operating OneTrust or similar privacy tools (data mapping, vendor risk, consent, DPIAs, DPAs, RoPAs).
- Proven expertise developing automated privacy workflows, data subject rights solutions, data minimization, anonymization, and secure data transfers.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures and experience integrating privacy controls with APIs, microservices, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA) and their application to technical solutions.

- Strong scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) for privacy monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident detection.
- Excellent communication skills for clearly conveying technical privacy concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines, and escalations effectively in a fast-paced environment.
