Salary: £146,000 - 176,000 per year
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot
- Extensive experience with reactive programming and Spring Reactive
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud technologies and building scalable multi-region applications
- Experience with AWS serverless and serverless-supported languages
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and CockroachDB
- Experience with streaming technologies such as Amazon Kinesis and Kafka
- Experience with message queues such as SQS, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
- Experience with core services around player journeys and experiences
- Nice to have: experience with sports betting, trading development, and casino software
- Nice to have: knowledge of general trading rules and feed providers
- Nice to have: knowledge of odds feeds such as Radar, Genius, Swich, and Simplebet
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical point of contact for various stakeholders
- Contribute high-quality code and demonstrate strong technical capability and passion for technology
- Be responsible for the quality, scope, and timeliness of all deliverables
- Take ownership of the backend implementation and help shape its architecture
- Tackle problems with innovative ideas and high-quality technical solutions
