It is the company behind Juniper, one of the world's largest weight-management programs, combining GLP-1 medication with personalised nutrition, movement support, and clinician-led care from prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians. Published clinical research shows its combined clinical and behavioural approach helps patients lose significantly more weight than medication alone. Eucalyptus supports patients living with obesity across five markets (Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, and Canada), has received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS, and also operates a growing family of digital healthcare clinics (Pilot, Kin, Software) across men's health, fertility, and skincare.### The roleThis is a senior individual-contributor role focused on conversion rate optimisation (CRO) for Eucalyptus's acquisition surfaces. People arrive at Eucalyptus pages ready to change their health but unsure whether to begin; this role exists to help them take that first step. You would own the front door: the landing pages, signature conversion components, and page templates where prospective patients decide whether to start treatment. You would work alongside growth experts, CRO managers, and product and commercial partners, holding the bar on what is right for the patient while balancing business needs.### What you would do* Design every page as a structured argument, ensuring every element (problem, solution, proof, process, value, and objection removal) earns its place.* Own high-leverage acquisition surfaces end to end: landing pages, conversion components, and the templates they sit in.* Own conversion-bearing pieces such as BMI calculators and the interstitial moments within clinical quiz and consult flows, the points where people hesitate and leave.* Translate clinical language into words a patient understands and trusts, staying accurate and compliant while remaining human.* Design dense information clearly using strong visual hierarchy, data visualisation, and progressive disclosure so patients can go as deep as they want without being overwhelmed.* Use motion and pacing with intent to control the rhythm of a page and keep people moving through it.* Carry the creative thread from adverts through to landing pages and post-conversion touchpoints, maintaining one consistent story.* Partner with the CRO manager on the optimisation loop: bring hypotheses and designs, shape A/B tests, read results honestly, and turn findings into the next move.* Write both persuasive copy and UX writing that hold up in a regulated market.* Conduct your own usability research and feed findings into the next experiment.* Compose from the design system's primitives, own the signature conversion components built on top, and build bespoke pages when a high-profile moment warrants the craft.* Use LLMs and tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to widen the range of variants you can test and tighten the build-measure-learn loop.### What they are looking for* Typically 5 to 8 years in product design with a track record of conversion-focused design and A/B testing on acquisition surfaces.* Strong problem definition skills: you use data and research to identify which surface matters most and which experiment is worth running.* Non-negotiable visual craft: typography, spacing, colour, motion, and micro-interactions used with intent. You can also produce interstitial illustration for quiz and consult flows.* Accessibility by default: you design inclusively and understand why standards exist, not just what they say.* Systems thinking: you work in modules, compose from design system primitives, own signature components, and build page templates that assemble in different ways. You know when to extend the system and when to build bespoke.* Product and commercial sense: you reason in conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and funnel drop-off, and you defend design decisions in the language of the metric they move.* Clear, specific, opinionated communication: you say what you decided, why, and what you chose not to do.* A portfolio showing complex information made clear, pages that tell a structured story, and evidence of outcomes (conversion numbers and the testing that produced them). Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.* Empathy and emotional intelligence for people making health decisions at a vulnerable moment.* Curiosity about health, including conditions you may not yet know.### Working arrangementsThe role is based in Eucalyptus's London office near Old Street. The current policy is a hybrid setup with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.### Pay and benefits* Employee options (equity stake in the business).* Annual development budget plus 3 days of professional development leave.* Private health insurance through Vitality, or a monthly wellness allowance as an alternative.* 25 days of holiday plus enhanced parental leave.* Work-from-anywhere allowance of 3 weeks per year.* Regular office socials, clubs, sport, and seasonal events. #J-18808-Ljbffr
