We are currently seeking a Passive Fire Supervisor / Surveyor to oversee fire protection works across multiple sites in London. This role sits between site supervision and quality surveying, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting sites on a daily basis, monitoring installation teams, identifying and rectifying issues, and ensuring all passive fire works—particularly fire doors—are installed correctly in line with regulations and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out regular site visits across London projects
- Supervise and support installation teams on passive fire works
- Inspect fire door installations and associated works for quality and compliance
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety requirements
- Liaise with site teams, project managers, and operatives
- Maintain accurate records of site inspections and findings
- Strong background in carpentry, ideally with fire door installation experience
- Previous experience in passive fire protection works
- Good understanding of fire safety standards and compliance
- Experience in site supervision, QA, or surveying roles
- Ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions on site
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
