Telehandler Operator – Fleet – Immediate Start
Hard Hat Recruitment is looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a busy construction site in Fleet for approximately one week.
This is a site that's coming to the end of the project, so duties will primarily involve moving materials, equipment and site items, assisting with the final stages of the build and supporting site management as required.
When telehandler work is quiet, you'll be expected to muck in with the site team, assisting the labourers with general site duties to help keep the project moving.
There is also an excellent opportunity to move straight onto our next project in Newbury, which is due to start in August, for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently.
- Moving materials, pallets and equipment around site.
- Assisting trades and site management with lifting operations.
- Carrying out daily machine checks.
- Supporting labourers with general site duties during quieter periods.
- Working in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
- Helping keep the site running smoothly during the final phase of the project.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Happy to assist with general labouring duties when telehandler work is quiet.
- Full PPE.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Ability to provide recent work references.
