We require a GP to cover maternity leave starting on 13th April for 6 months.
Key Duties
- Provide high-quality patient care across a range of clinical settings, including long-term condition management and preventative care.
- Participate in clinical meetings and collaborate with a team of GPs, Nurses, and HCAs to provide comprehensive care.
- Support the development and training of the team, with opportunities for CPD and professional growth.
- Help maintain the practice's high QOF score and contribute to its ongoing success.
Main duties of the job
- To deliver patient-centred care by phone and face-to-face appointments.
- Rather than duty doctor, we have a daily clinical sorter who triages and deals with routine patient queries submitted via the AccuRx system - training for this will be provided if not familiar.
- We benefit from low numbers of home visit requests.

Whilst we are independent, we work closely with our neighbouring surgery as part of the local PCN to provide Extended Access and other schemes. Through ARRS we have added a number of PCN staff, expanding our MDT: We have a hardworking and responsive reception and administration team. Our workflow uses TPP SystmOne and is supported by:
- GP-list dedicated Personal Assistants
- Ardens clinical templates and referrals
- AccuRx triage
- Admin team members are increasingly supporting with document management to help ensure we only see what we need to see.
Job responsibilities
We're looking for a Locum GP to join a supportive, well-run practice in Salisbury. Great rates, admin, and flexible sessions make this ideal for experienced GPs seeking balance and impact.
The Role
- 4 sessions/week Thursday and Friday
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face and/or telephone consultations
- Manage acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care
- Complete referrals, prescriptions, Admin and follow-ups
- Collaborate with the wider clinical and admin team
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records

- Medical Degree & GMC Registration: Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration

- IT Proficiency
