The Company
A leading global consulting group is seeking a Legal Transformation Manager to join its market-leading legal consulting practice. This role is suited to an experienced transformation professional who is passionate about helping legal functions evolve through strategic change, technology adoption, process redesign, and innovative operating models.
Working with law firms and in-house legal teams, you will lead transformation initiatives that reshape legal service delivery, improve operational performance, and enable clients to unlock the value of emerging technologies, including GenAI.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Transformation Manager
- Transformation Programme Delivery - Lead legal transformation engagements from assessment through to implementation, ensuring outcomes align with client objectives and strategic priorities.
- Operating Model Design - Advise legal departments and law firms on operating model development, organisational design, and service delivery improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Technology-Enabled Change - Support clients with the adoption of legal technology, automation, and GenAI solutions to improve performance and modernise legal service delivery.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management - Build trusted relationships with senior legal and business stakeholders, facilitating workshops and supporting change adoption across transformation programmes.
- Team Leadership & Practice Growth - Mentor junior team members, contribute to service development initiatives, and support business development activities across the legal consulting practice.
Skills & Attributes of the Legal Operations Consulting Manager
- Legal Transformation Expertise - Demonstrable experience delivering legal transformation, operating model change, or business transformation programmes within consulting or corporate environments.
- Change Management Capability - Experience leading process redesign, organisational change, and transformation initiatives across people, process, technology, and governance functions.
- Legal Technology Knowledge - Understanding of legal technology, automation, digital transformation, and GenAI applications within legal services environments.
- Stakeholder Engagement Skills - Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex project environments.
- Commercial & Programme Management - Strong programme management capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify opportunities for client value creation and service improvement.
