This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Technology Consultant to join a specialist consulting services firm, working on varied consulting projects and supporting organisations through their digital transformation journeys. The organisation provides technology, compliance and operational services to a broad range of large organisations, with technology, analytics, automation and innovative processes central to its continued growth. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients and internal teams to understand business challenges, design practical technology solutions and support their implementation, while gaining exposure to a broad range of projects and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Technology Consultant
- Deliver technology consulting: Work directly with clients and internal teams to understand challenges, identify use cases and develop technology-led solutions that address business requirements.
- Design practical solutions: Assess where technology and process change can improve outcomes, translating requirements into effective and scalable solutions.
- Implement technology solutions: Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to configure, implement and deploy software solutions effectively.
- Lead system integrations: Take responsibility for establishing integrations and connectivity between different software platforms, ensuring systems work effectively together.
- Monitor emerging technology: Keep up to date with new technologies, trends and developments, identifying opportunities that could benefit clients and the wider business.
Skills & Attributes of the Legal Technology Consultant
- Technical consulting experience: 2-3 years' experience in a technical role, with the versatility to work effectively within a fast-paced and evolving technology environment.
- Systems and integration skills: Hands-on experience with system design, integration between systems and implementation of technology solutions.
- Cloud technology knowledge: Good understanding of cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS and Azure, alongside an awareness of modern technology environments.
- Programming knowledge: Familiarity with technologies including Python, SQL, HTML, XML, JSON and REST APIs, with the ability to engage confidently with technical teams.
- Client and project skills: Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, technical colleagues and stakeholders. A degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is required.
