A leading global consulting group is seeking a Legal Operations Consulting Manager to join its established legal transformation and operations practice. The role focuses on helping law firms and corporate legal departments improve legal service delivery through operating model design, process optimisation, legal technology adoption, and data-driven transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead legal operations and transformation engagements, ensuring projects deliver measurable improvements and achieve agreed client objectives.
  • Advise legal departments and law firms on operating model design, service delivery enhancements, governance frameworks, and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of legal technology solutions, including contract lifecycle management, workflow automation, and GenAI-enabled tools.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders, manage complex workstreams, and provide clear recommendations throughout transformation programmes.
  • Mentor consultants and analysts, contribute to service development activities, and support business development and client engagement initiatives.

Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrable experience within legal operations, legal transformation, legal technology, or management consulting environments.
  • Experience delivering operating model reviews, process redesign initiatives, and technology-enabled transformation programmes within legal functions.
  • Understanding of legal technology platforms, contract lifecycle management solutions, workflow tools, and emerging GenAI applications.
  • Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and project leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial understanding with experience identifying opportunities for operational improvement, value creation, and practice growth.
