A leading global consulting group is seeking an Analyst to join its globally regarded legal engineering practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional with an interest in law, technology and consulting, who is motivated by purpose‑led work and shaping the future of legal services. The role works closely with law firms and in‑house legal teams, supporting the redesign of how legal services are delivered, improving efficiency and contributing to the responsible adoption of GenAI.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Engineering Analyst
- Support legal transformation programmes – Contribute to projects for law firms and in‑house legal teams, assisting with process mapping, analysis and implementation of technology‑enabled solutions. Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost and service quality.
- Assist with GenAI initiatives – Support the exploration and adoption of GenAI and digital technologies by conducting research, preparing materials and helping to assess opportunities and risks.
- Contribute to AI solution development – Assist in the design and testing of GenAI‑enabled tools, including workflows and prompt development. Support quality assurance and documentation of solutions.
- Project delivery support – Work as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. Assist with tracking progress, preparing reports and supporting change and adoption activities such as training materials and communications.
- Stakeholder engagement – Build effective working relationships with team members and clients. Support senior colleagues in meetings, workshops and presentations.
Skills & Attributes of the Legal Engineering Analyst
- Relevant academic or early professional background – Degree in Law or a related field (e.g. business, technology). Some exposure to legal processes or consulting is beneficial.
- Interest in GenAI and legal technology – Demonstrates curiosity about GenAI, large language models and legal tech, with a willingness to learn and apply new tools in a legal context.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills – Able to work with data, analyse processes and contribute to structured problem‑solving. Strong attention to detail.
