A career defining opportunity for a Head of eDiscovery is now available at this leading international Legal Professional Services group which operates in Europe, Asia and the Middle East and boasts a strong track record of delivering high quality services to a blue-chip portfolio of clients in some of the fastest growing markets in the world.
You will lead the firm’s Litigation Technology business ensuring the provision of high-quality consulting and technical advice to the lawyers, along with having the remit to grow the business, extending provision of its services across the group. This is an opportunity to shape the role and define the services the firm provides to their clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Head of eDiscovery- Execute and evolve the strategic vision for the firm’s eDiscovery consultancy function
- Provide high level consultancy services to clients and lawyers on effective litigation management
- Manage and provide leadership within the team to develop staff members in a professional manner and allow for growth opportunities within the firm
- Responsible for the execution and ongoing evolution of the department’s business plan
- Work collaboratively with the legal teams to establish the most suitable practices that meet a client’s needs by working closely with them and prioritising any foreseeable issues that may arise across projects
- To be recognised as a leading individual in the industry and the face of the firm’s eDiscovery function including establishing and maintaining a strong market presence through participating in conferences and thought leadership exercises
- A minimum of ten years’ consulting or litigation support management, with experience in a top tier law firm, consulting firm or in-house eDiscovery / legal team
- A professional background in the electronic disclosure industry, while having the relevant team leadership skills to manage the team and continue to build and grow the service offering
- Thorough technical understanding of litigation support and electronic disclosure technologies including industry processing and forensic tools
- Able to effectively lead a diverse and inclusive team and support the career development of individuals
