The organisation provides a professional environment where accuracy, responsiveness and strong stakeholder relationships are essential. The Finance Analyst will work with shareholders, investors, financial advisers, banking contacts and depositary relationships, providing a varied role with significant responsibility across day-to-day finance administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage shareholder transactions: Process weekly shareholder allotments, exits and withdrawals, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Coordinate payment runs: Prepare and manage payment runs across several companies, including Averon and Blackmead, ensuring payments are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare investor reporting: Produce quarterly investor statements and biannual reports, ensuring information is accurate, complete and delivered to agreed deadlines.
  • Support investor requirements: Provide data for quarterly Independent Financial Adviser due diligence requests and respond efficiently to ad-hoc investor queries.
  • Manage banking relationships: Support day-to-day banking management and maintain effective relationships with the organisation's depositary and other relevant financial stakeholders.

Skills & Attributes

  • Finance administration experience: Previous experience within a finance administration or similar role, with the ability to undertake a broad range of financial and investor-related responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail: A meticulous approach to financial information and documentation, with a high level of accuracy essential when processing transactions and preparing reports.
  • Excellent organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain regular processes and consistently meet important deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills: Confident and professional communicator, able to build effective relationships with investors, shareholders, advisers, banking contacts and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel capability: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to work efficiently with financial data and produce accurate information.
