We are currently recruiting for a Fixed Plant Operative to work across sites in the Newton Abbot area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced or trainee Fixed Plant Operative looking for long-term, ongoing work with full training provided. This role offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work within a busy and supportive site environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring plant equipment while ensuring site operations run efficiently and safely, working within a quarry-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring fixed plant machinery
- Carrying out daily plant checks and basic maintenance
- Reporting faults and ensuring equipment is safe to use
- Supporting general site duties including cleaning, loading, and material handling
- Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Working alongside site teams to maintain productivity
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Fixed Plant Operative role is preferred.
