Qualified Window Fitter – Newton Abbot – £15.00 Per Hour Location: Newton Abbot, Devon Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing Work Start Time: 7:00am (occasional 6:00am starts for jobs further afield) Job Description Harbron Recruit is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Window Fitter for ongoing work based in Newton Abbot. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Window Fitter looking for consistent work with a varied range of installation projects. The successful candidate will have previous experience fitting windows and doors, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will be responsible for installing windows and doors at various properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Installing windows and doors to a high standard. Measuring and preparing window openings for installation. Ensuring windows and doors are correctly fitted, secured, aligned and sealed. Removing existing windows and preparing openings where required. Using tools and equipment safely and effectively. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. Following health and safety procedures on all sites. Working professionally as part of a team and travelling to different job locations when required. Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Window Fitter. Full, clean UK driving licence. Valid CSCS card. Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship. Reliable, punctual and willing to travel to sites further afield when required. Working Hours and Pay £15.00 per hour. 7:00am start from the Newton Abbot area. Some 6:00am starts may be required when travelling to sites further afield.
