We are looking for a skilled, experienced stonemason to join a well-established firm, delivering high-specification building projects across the South West.

Permanent position. Pay: £20–£22 per hour, depending on experience. Work will involve premium residential and commercial developments, requiring attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

As a stonemason you will work on a variety of high-end projects, including new builds and restoration work. You will meet daily at the company headquarters in Torrington and travel with the team to project sites throughout the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cutting, shaping, and dressing stone for building and restoration projects
  • Constructing and repairing stone structures, walls, and features
  • Working from drawings and specifications to achieve high-quality finishes
  • Repointing and restoring existing stonework
  • Ensuring all work meets the highest standards expected on premium projects
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborating professionally with clients and other trades on site
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a stonemason
  • Strong knowledge of both traditional and modern masonry techniques
  • Ability to work accurately from drawings and plans
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • References required
  • CSCS card advantageous
  • Must have full PPE
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
