We are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Fitters to work on a major utilities and civil engineering project starting in Holsworthy, with work continuing across multiple infrastructure sites throughout the South West.

The role will involve installing, maintaining, and supporting mechanical systems associated with utility infrastructure, pumping stations, pipelines, and civil engineering works. This is ongoing temporary contract work, with the opportunity to move between projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical installation work on utilities and civil engineering sites
  • Install and maintain mechanical systems including pipework, pumps, and associated equipment
  • Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Support the Mechanical Supervisor and site management team
  • Assist with testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures
  • Carry out equipment installation, assembly, and fault finding
  • Maintain high standards of site safety and workmanship
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Mechanical Fitter within utilities, infrastructure, or construction environments
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience installing mechanical infrastructure equipment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple project sites
