Harbron Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker / 360 Excavator Operator to join a busy and fast-paced housing project in Newquay. The successful candidate will be required to operate an 8-tonne 360 excavator while also undertaking finishing groundworks on site.
- Operating an 8-tonne 360 excavator
- Undertaking finishing groundworks
- Carrying out general groundworks
- Working both on the machine and on the ground
- Assisting the wider groundworks team when required
- Helping to complete a major housing project
- Following site instructions and health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy site team
- Evening and weekend work may be available
Essential Requirements:
- Valid CPCS 360 Excavator ticket OR NPORS with CSCS logo (Ticket must cover the relevant excavator category/size)
- A separate CSCS card will NOT be accepted for this project
- Previous experience operating an 8-tonne excavator
- Previous groundworks and finishing works experience
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to hit the ground running
Desirable:
- Lifting Operations / Lifting Ops qualification is desirable but not essential
