We are currently recruiting an experienced Plater Fabricator for a long-term position based in Irvine, Scotland.
Role details:
- Start date: Monday 5th January
- Location: Irvine
- Rate: £30.00 per hour
- Duration: Long-term work
- Average 40-60 hours per week
- Opportunity to work weekends as and when required
Role overview:
As a Plater Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of steel components. The role involves working from engineering drawings, marking out materials, cutting, forming, and welding metal to produce high-quality finished products. You will be expected to maintain high safety and workmanship standards at all times.
Key responsibilities:
- Fabricating and assembling structural steel and plate work
- Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
- Cutting, shaping, and forming materials using workshop and site equipment
- Welding components to a high standard
- Carrying out work in line with health and safety requirements
Required qualifications and tickets:
- CSCS / ECITB (Blue Card equivalent) essential
- IPAF required
- Proven experience as a Plater Fabricator
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
