We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator / General Labourer for an ongoing construction project in Irvine. This role is ideal for a skilled Telehandler Operator / General Labourer who is happy to assist with general labouring duties and work on a single site.
Role Overview
You will work as a Telehandler Operator / General Labourer, operating a telehandler safely on site while assisting with general labouring duties. This includes moving materials, supporting trades, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and helping with general site operations as required.
Key duties include:
- Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently
- Moving materials and assisting site teams with groundworks and construction tasks
- Maintaining tidy and safe work areas
- Supporting tradespeople and the wider site team with general labouring duties
- Following all health & safety procedures on site
Requirements
- Valid Telehandler qualification (CPCS or NPORS)
- Valid CSCS card (minimum Green Labourer)
- Full UK driving licence (over 30)
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
- Willingness to assist with general labouring tasks
- Good awareness of site health & safety procedures
- Willingness to undertake drug & alcohol testing prior to starting on site
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
