Harbron Recruit are currently recruiting experienced Groundworkers for a busy foundations project in Crewkerne, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Groundworkers looking for ongoing work, a competitive hourly rate and genuine long-term opportunities with a major civil engineering contractor. Established Groundworker gangs are welcome to apply. Individual Groundworkers who are willing to form a gang through Harbron Recruit are also encouraged to get in touch.

Groundworker Duties:

  • Foundations and footing works
  • Drainage and general groundwork
  • Excavation and backfilling
  • Concrete and associated groundwork
  • General civils and groundwork duties
  • Assisting with plant operations where required
  • Working as part of an experienced site team
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Working efficiently to programme deadlines

Groundworker Requirements:

  • Proven experience undertaking all aspects of foundations groundworks
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Forward Tipping Dumper and Roller tickets are desirable but not essential
  • Where CPCS or NPORS tickets are held, they must include the CSCS logo
  • Checkable references required
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a busy site team
