The work is primarily ceilings and partitions on an active commercial fit-out — clean, dry, indoor work with a solid main contractor and an experienced site team.Ideal for a reliable 1st or 2nd fix carpenter who wants a well-paid, defined-length contract with the potential of follow-on work across our South West portfolio.
Duties
Suspended ceiling installation and remedial worksMetal stud and timber partition constructionBoarding and finishing worksGeneral 1st and 2nd fix carpentry as requiredReading and working from drawings and specificationsWorking as part of an established site teamMaintaining high H&S standards on site
Requirements
Proven carpentry experience — ceilings and partitions essentialValid CSCS card (essential)Own hand tools and PPEAbility to work to drawings and finish to a high standardReliable, hardworking, with checkable recent referencesRight to work in the UK
