Job Description
Harbron Recruit is looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator / Paint Sprayer to join a leading niche construction company on ongoing projects in Exeter.
This role will involve working alongside specialist fire stopping teams, applying intumescent coatings to structural steel and other surfaces. Previous paint spraying experience is essential. Experience with intumescent coatings is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a well-established contractor.
Duties will include:
- Applying intumescent coatings to structural steel and other surfaces
- Operating airless spray equipment
- Preparing surfaces prior to spraying
- Working alongside specialist fire stopping teams
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Requirements:
- Previous paint spraying experience is essential
- Experience using airless spray equipment
- Intumescent coating experience is desirable but not essential
- Valid CSCS Card
- Own transport is preferred due to site location
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
