Harbron Recruit is recruiting an experienced 13 & 21 Tonne Excavator Driver for a busy civil engineering and groundworks project in Crewkerne, Somerset.
This 13 & 21 Tonne Excavator Driver role offers ongoing work with a well-established contractor on a long-term project, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking for consistent employment.
The Role
As a 13 & 21 Tonne Excavator Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating 13 tonne and 21 tonne excavators safely and efficiently
- Carrying out foundation excavations
- Completing drainage and trenching works
- Backfilling and grading
- Assisting the groundworks team when required
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting defects
- Working to site health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
To be considered for this 13 & 21 Tonne Excavator Driver position, you must have:
- A valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator ticket with the CSCS logo
- Separate CSCS cards cannot be accepted for this role
- Previous experience operating both 13 tonne and 21 tonne excavators
- Checkable work references
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
