We are looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, providing practical advice and supporting managers to create high-performing teams across a diverse and growing business.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will provide expert HR support and guidance across the Group, working closely with managers and employees to deliver effective people solutions, support employee relations, and help drive our people strategy forward.

What You will Be Doing

As our Human Resources Advisor, you will

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across the business.
  • Support managers with employee relations matters, ensuring issues are managed fairly, consistently and in line with company policy and employment legislation.
  • Work closely with operational management teams to support productivity and business performance.
  • Assist in the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practice.
  • Support absence management and other key people processes across the business.
  • Deliver HR initiatives and contribute to management development programmes.
  • Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of HR KPIs and the wider people plan.
  • Build strong working relationships across all areas of the business.
  • Travel to sites across Scotland to provide HR support where required.
  • What We are Looking For

You will be a confident HR professional with a practical, people-focused approach and a passion for delivering excellent employee support.

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing Employee Relations cases.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Scotland.
  • CIPD qualification and/or CIPD membership.
  • Experience supporting operational or manufacturing teams.
