Are you a technically minded sales professional with a passion for developing lasting relationships and driving growth? We’re looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer within the building products sector.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of a defined sales region, managing key accounts while developing new business through a consultative and solution-led approach. You’ll work closely with contractors, OEMs, and distribution partners to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop existing key accounts within your territory.
- Identify and win new business opportunities with sub-contractors, OEMs, and distribution partners.
- Build strong working relationships across customer organisations, including technical, estimating, purchasing, and contracts teams.
- Provide expert product and application advice, ensuring solutions are technically sound and commercially viable.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while achieving agreed sales and profitability targets.
- Actively track competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting through CRM and other sales administration tools.
- Proven success in a technical or specification-led sales role, ideally within the construction or building envelope sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging at all levels.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational and time management skills.
