We are currently recruiting for a market leading health and beauty company who distribute products across the UK to all the major retailers. This is a chance to join a rapidly growing business in a fast-paced environment and help maximise the sales drive with existing and new customers. The role is for a Supply Chain Manager based at their site in Peterborough managing 1-2 people in a dynamic team.
Role:
- Forecasting – preparation of sales forecasts which drive the manufacturing slots within PMI, to ensure all customers stay well supplied and sales are maximised.
- Sales Analysis – interpret current and future sales information through EPOS / Customer supplied information.
- Reporting – Low Stock / High Stock analysis and reporting.
- Potential Future Stock Issues – highlight potential issues and look for / suggest improvements where possible in order to maximise sales opportunities.
- Manage Finished Goods Stock Levels through analysis of customer behaviours and flow through to our MRP & Planning system.
- Management of a Supply Chain Graduate. Develop and nurture their career to maximise the team capability.
Candidate:
- Must have 2+ years’ experience in forecasting within a supply chain function with FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Excellent numerical skills: must be able to understand and advise on product costings.
- Great organisational ability.
- Must be able to communicate across all levels of the business, from factory floor to Senior Directors & externally with Suppliers and Freight companies.
- Has commercial acumen and an understanding of business issues.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multi-projects.
- Deadline driven and motivated: self-starter: a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Responds well to pressure and change.
Package:
- Basic Salary: £52,500 (potentially negotiable based on experience).
