**Specification Sales Manager – Midlands/Northwest/Southeast/South London – Global Manufacturer & Supplier**
We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer in one of the biggest growth sectors across the UK. This is a newly created role due to growth, they are looking for people who are ambitious, have a background selling into Contractors or Specialists within the construction industry and looking to grow this part of the company. This is a role where they can mold the territory around the right candidate, ideally if someone is based in the Midlands, Northwest or Southeast/South London.
Role:
You will be responsible for –
- Identify, develop, and communicate opportunities across specification, project, installer, and distributor channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, especially Contractors and Specialists.
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations.
- Support testing, training, and technical events.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and reporting via the CRM system.
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will –
- Experience in the construction sector, ideally with a manufacturer or contractor.
- Experience dealing with Contractors, Architects or Specification.
- History of account management and new business with a strong focus on growing an area.
- Have a stable sales background
- Experience with objection handling, pricing and looking at margin
- Good at building relationships
Package:
- Basic Salary: up to £75,000 (negotiable based on experience)
- Bonus UNCAPPED (OTE £40-50k first year)
