We are currently recruiting for a market leading drink company who supply a range of hospitality customers across the Southeast of UK. This is a company with a fantastic reputation across the industry and they deliver a high level of service to their customer base.
The role is for Finance Manager leading a small team from their office in Ramsgate. You would be responsible for the day-to-day finance operations of the business, provide accurate financial insight, look at improving ways of working and support the business as it grows.
Role:- Managing day-to-day financial operations and leading a finance team of four
- Preparing and posting month-end journals including accruals and prepayments
- Producing timely monthly financial reports including Balance Sheet, P&L, variance and margin analysis
- Managing VAT returns and statutory submissions
- Developing and improving financial systems, processes and policies during a period of growth
- Leading the preparation for the annual external audit and ensuring deadlines are met
- Monitoring budgets and KPIs, investigating variances and making recommendations to support business performance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ideally have a professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA)
- Proven experience managing or mentoring finance team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments
- Experience using financial systems and reporting tools
- A proactive approach with the ability to improve processes and support business growth
- Basic Salary: completely negotiable for the right level of experience
