We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer who employ over 10,000 people, turnover around £6 billion globally and are known for their quality and innovation. This is a senior position in the business for a Compliance Manager which is essential for safeguarding the company’s operational integrity. This is a role which gives you a lot of autonomy, you will develop policies and oversee all aspects of the compliance team.
Role:
- Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Oversee and conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps.
- Manage and mentor the members of the compliance team ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, industry associations, and external auditors on compliance matters.
- Accountable for enhancing and maintaining company standards for carrying out site surveys and supporting the Site Technicians' smooth running and completion of projects.
- Encourage and drive a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness throughout the organisation.
Candidate:
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and standards applicable to the construction/building materials industry.
- Has a strong understanding of compliance with a technical product.
- Experience leading and managing a team would be ideal.
- Someone who can communicate clearly verbally and in writing on what they need.
- Someone who can understand the concept of a system, not just a product.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including major complaint investigation.
- Strong attention to detail, resilience, self-motivation, and a flexible, team-player approach.
Package:
- Basic Salary: up to £80,000 (negotiable based on experience)
