We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer and distributor in the construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a national account management role building strong, long-lasting relationships with OEMs across their product ranges.

Role

  • Create integral working relationships with all OEMs across the Building Envelope product lines.
  • Become a trusted "consultant" to all key OEMs both in their R&D, technical and senior commercial teams.
  • Work closely with the commercial teams to execute and deliver the strategic opportunities secured and developed.
  • Protect, secure and increase market share through their OEM network.
  • Provide strategic intelligence in support of identifying new product development opportunities.
  • Work closely with the technical team to guide/manage their approach.
  • Identify, monitor and feedback competitor/customer activity.

Candidate

  • Ideally have experience selling into construction manufacturers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of creating relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
  • Be organised and methodical.
  • Be proactive and able to take the initiative.
  • Be well presented with a professional manner.
  • Have good business and commercial awareness.
  • Able to create strategies aligned to market requirements.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for effective decision making and delivering appropriate outcomes.
  • Flexible to stay away from home from time to time.

Package

  • Basic Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (negotiable based on experience).
  • Bonus: Uncapped.
